Thanksgiving

Bringing together the food needed to feed our community is a perennial challenge and we rely on the kindness and generosity of our community to help us. Or follow us on Instagram The Thanksgiving box program is not only a program to make sure everyone gets a Thanksgiving dinner, but also ensure you can share the holiday with your family and loved ones. So when signing up to receive a Thanksgiving box, please include everyone you will be feeding on Thanksgiving in the ‘How many in the household’ box

Last year we distributed over 3000 Thanksgiving boxes. While we had hoped last year that the economy would get better and prices would relax a little, sadly it has gotten much worse with food prices averaging 50% HIGHER than last year., thus we are expecting very high requests for help. While we would love to meet or exceed the need this year, the reality is we are only signing up for 2500 boxes. This is already a huge number and will be very difficult to meet. However, if we get enough donations, we will of course, meet the demand for as many as we can.
