Welcome to Pantry 279’s Delivery form. You must read and agree to the Pantry 279 delivery terms below.
- We offer deliveries only to people that are homebound, ill, disabled, or who have NO CAR.
- Deliveries are only made in Bloomington and Ellettsttville.
- You can only have a delivery or come to pantry once every 7 days.
- Most deliveries are made by volunteer drivers on Mon, Tues, Wed, or Sat. ONLY.
- Delivery requests must be in by no later than 2pm the day before the day you want the delivery.
- You must be home during the delivery, UNLESS you live in a house or Trailer and you put a LARGE cooler with a lid out. We can leave deliveries in coolers with lids now. We CAN’T do this will Apartments! The volunteer driver will call and / or text you and then knock on your door, and hand you the delivery. If you do not answer, the food is returned to the pantry and you will have to wait a week to request again. If you no show 2 times, you will no longer be allowed delivery. ( Unless the cooler method happens. )
- DELIVERIES ARE NOT GUARANTEED!!! We do the best we can with the limited resources we have and sometimes we cannot fulfill all the delivery requests.
- If you have any way to make it to the pantry, or send someone for you (proxy), please do. We can provide a greater variety and 3 – 5 times as much food to you at the pantry than we can send by delivery.
- If you have allergies or other dietary restrictions we will do our best to honor them. Though this may reduce the amount and variety of foods we are able to deliver.
- ‘I need’ lists are unlikely to be honored. We never know what we will have available. If you have specific needs and we happen to have those items we will try to include them in your delivery
- We are not responsible for stolen deliveries and we can’t replace them.
- You must read and agree to these terms each time you request a delivery
