Thank you and much gratitude to Owen County Community Foundation for the wonderful grant!! This was given thru the Freeman Charitable Food Fund. While we are not located IN Owen county, we serve many who do live in this lovely county. They recognize this and awarded the grant to help us continue to fight hunger. Did you know one of our Children's Summer Food Program sites is set up at the Owen County fairgrounds every year?

We have a Beautiful "new " ( gently used, new to us ) electric pallet jack!! Huge Thank you to TOYOTA and their rep Scott Burton for getting us this lovely equipment. They even put new batteries in and cleaned it up! It will save our backs! For those who donated for the pallet jack, Thank you!! Toyota donated this for free, so the money was spent on Food. If this is not ok, please contact me.

I'm sure the farm bill act that Pres Trump enacted his last term that filled Pantry's will go into effect sooner than later and idk what happened to it with the last administration... Be patient things will even out ...

Friends of Pantry 279-it looks like both Kroger and IGA have some good prices this week. Maybe if we all buy a few extra items, we can get the pantry back in good shape.

I dd a quick video showcasing the wonderful donations made by The Caffeinated Cook , McClaren Snacks, and Aldi. What we couldn't show ( as we were weighing and going thru it ) were all of the individual donations just brought in by families. All of these will stock our shelves and our deliveries today and as long as they hold out for during the week. One fun story, We have a lovely lady in COLORADO, who sent us a cash donation AND is Amazoning herbal teas! It does take a village, but also a WORLD. We are all connected in one way or another with the whole world! Thank you to everyone who is donating, sending cash, volunteering, or sharing and talking about food pantries and food banks! Kindness will go further and anger and hate, plus will not cause you to have a heart attack. We are all in this together, and will get through the bumpy times together!
