As gardening season starts to be in full swing, one of our MOST requested items, that we rarely have, is Rhubarb! Especially among our senior guests, Rhubarb is a special treat. Tieman Tire for the win again! One of our volunteer delivery drivers got a flat while out making deliveries today. Tieman Tire of Bloomington, Inc came to the rescue and went up and above! What an incredible act of kindness from our community 💛
Emilee Hylton (12) came up with the idea to organize a neighborhood food drive to support our food pantry—and with help from her sister Madison (9) and their dad/mom, she brought it to life in such a meaningful way.
What makes this even more special is that Emilee is the same age as the girls who started our pantry. Seeing that same spirit of compassion and initiative in the next generation is truly inspiring.
Because of their thoughtfulness and hard work, our pantry has received much-needed support. Moments like this remind us how powerful a single idea—and a caring heart—can be. 💫
