What an incredible showdown at this year’s Battle of the Badges! A huge congratulations to Team Fire on an outstanding win. It was a hard-fought game from start to finish, and both teams brought the energy, determination, and competitive spirit that make this event such a great tradition for our community.
The rivalry between Police and Fire is alive and stronger than ever, and that’s exactly what makes this game so exciting year after year. We appreciate everyone who came out to cheer, support, and be part of the fun.
For now, the trophy proudly resides at the Ellettsville Fire Department.

We are incredibly grateful to Psi Iota Xi – Zeta Chapter / Bloomington Thrift Shop for their generous grant to help us purchase food for our community.
This support means so much to us and to the families we serve each week. What makes it even more special is knowing that these funds come directly from sales at the Bloomington Thrift Shop, where they accept gently used, good-quality clothing, household goods, and books. Every donated item and every purchase truly makes a difference right here in our community.
This weekend alone, Psi Iota Xi awarded an incredible $60,000 in grants to many local agencies — a true testament to their heart for Bloomington and the surrounding area.
