Let's talk about Saturday!! This Saturday has several things happening and we are SO understaffed! First, if you can please come help even for a couple of hours 11-4 ( 1-4 being the most needed ) please come! As we will be closed July 4th, we will be busy, plus it's the end of the month and everyone's money/SNAP has run out. We have lots of food to give and will be doing larger amounts to help get people stocked up. Plus, the Ellettsville Children's Summer Food location is at the Pantry as well ( and yes, it too will be closed July 4 ). If you have children, need food, and have proof of those children ( a birth Certificate, something with their name and birthdate OR the actual child ) this is great for you! YES you can get Children's summer AND pantry in the same week! So if you need food, we are there 1-4 and if you can help, please come! Thank you and please share!

A HUGE thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, HHFB, our amazing pantry staff, and every volunteer who dedicated their time, strength, and heart over the past 3 days. The amount of hard work that went into receiving, organizing, and distributing food was truly incredible.
We are especially grateful to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their generous donation of 40,000 pounds of food, which will help feed so many individuals and families in our community.
Thanks to the dedication of everyone involved, we were able to serve 811 people today! This would not have been possible without the teamwork, compassion, and commitment of so many people working together for a common cause.

It is Finally the week of June 24! This will be an exciting and crazy week, and we will need HELP. On Wed the big truck from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will arrive early in the morning with 40,000 lbs of non perishable food AND dish soap. We will be spending Monday and Tuesday getting ready for this, plus Pantry and Children's Summer will go on as per norm. We will need help with repack, condensing pallets, keeping shelves stocked, helping guests, and CLEANING. Limits will be raised this week to make room for this food, plus in prep for us being closed on JULY 4. If you can help, even for a few hours Monday 2-7, Tues 2-8 ( yes after hours ) please come by, even if it's just for a couple of hours. If you have a food business and want to send snacks to help all of the volunteers, please feel free as everyone will be working very hard. Thank you and Please Share!

This Wed, June 24, is going to be huge! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will be sending is a huge truck with 40,000 lbs of food to stock our shelves. Also, we will be receiving our normal 2 trucks from Hoosier Hills Food Bank for produce and cooler/freezer items. You are welcome to come at 9:30-10 for the talks and truck and also welcome to sign up to help! Great day for food as well! Thank you Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for bringing in so much food, and we are also always very thankful to HHFB for supporting us daily!

We really need a few volunteers this Sat June 20 11-4. We especially need a couple of people to help run Children's Summer food right outside of the pantry, on the sidewalk in front of our windows ( 12:30 - 3 ) If you, friends, or family would like to help, even a couple of hours, please come! You do not have to sign up. Close toed shoes required.
